Bug Description

Since Raring, the powerpc ISO are quite oversized. The only reason I can see is the introduction of 2 new kernels :
linux-image-powerpc-e500
linux-image-powerpc-e500mc

It makes ISO bigger than 800 Mb, even without any langpacks, which make it quite impossible to reduce it to CD size without removing a lot of useful applications. Is it mandatory and permanent ? Or is there a way reduce this size ?

This appears only on live ISO (desktop), for example on Lubuntu ISO :
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily-live/current/raring-desktop-powerpc.manifest
linux-image-3.8.0-5-powerpc-e500 3.8.0-5.9
linux-image-3.8.0-5-powerpc-e500mc 3.8.0-5.9
linux-image-3.8.0-5-powerpc-smp 3.8.0-5.9
linux-image-3.8.0-5-powerpc64-smp 3.8.0-5.9

But, on alternate ISO, their is still only the 2 smp kernel :
http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/lubuntu/daily/current/raring-alternate-powerpc.list
/pool/main/l/linux-meta-ppc/linux-image-powerpc64-smp_3.8.0.5.6_powerpc.deb
/pool/main/l/linux-meta-ppc/linux-image-powerpc-smp_3.8.0.5.6_powerpc.deb

Is it normal to have this difference between the ISO ?

I fixed the "4 kernels on desktop ISOs" thing a while back, never noticed this bug.
