Bug Description

I cannot install Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn.

I've tried both Live CD & Alternate CD, but always get a 'No HDD Detected' error.

I'm trying to install it on a desktop computer with these specs:

Gigabyte 965P-S3 (JMicron SATA Controller) with AHCI enabled
Western Digital 320GB SATAII HDD

Thank you for reporting this issue.
Did the same hard disk got detected using a previous version [Edgy] of ubuntu or some other Linux distribution ? If you have still another working Linux distribution installed, please attach here the output of the commands lsmod and lspci -vnn
Thanks.
