Feisty does not open certain web sites

I'm not shure it is a duplicate of 89160 since one can wget and even browse with links while Firefox does not surf.

How to replicate in Feisty (Edgy works good).
1. type
wget www.medusa4.de

you will get a file named index.php?ziel=Products|MEDUSA

2. install links (i.e : sudo apt-get install links) and type
links www.medusa4.de

and you will browse the site.

3. type
firefox www.medusa4.de

..you will not!
So it seems to be a Firefox issue under Feisty not a kernel related issue.
Furtermore setting tcp_window_scaling to 0 (i.e. sudo sysctl -w net.ipv4.tcp_window_scaling=0 ) does not help at all.

I've been able to confirm this behavior.

On edgy I'm able to open the page.

Opera in feisty can open it too.

Seems that firefox in feisty is unable to handle the redirection of that site.

This seems to happen with 2.0.0.5, it doesnt happen on Gutsy or Edgy with same version of firefox that leads me to think its not a firefox issue alone, either something is contributing to it or its something else all together

try to change in about:config the value of

general.useragent.extra.firefoxComment = (Ubuntu-feisty)

to something that doesn't have feisty in it. Then restart firefox and
see if things improve.
