This has hit dep-wait on amd64 and sparc, and will hit it for the other three arches. The reason is because espeak Build-Depends on libkeyutils-dev, which is provided by the keyutils source package, which is in universe. Packages in main can't Build-Depend on packages in universe, which the buildd enforces.

Luke Yelavich (themuso) wrote :

I find that very puzzling. Espeak certainly doesn't directly depend on libkeyutils-dev, as shown in the .dsc file. My pbuilder cache also doesn't show this package as being pulled in for the build.

I'll look at the logs, but have no idea why this is happening.

Scratch that, it looked like Launchpad got very confused and was linking the build log of espeak to krb5. All five arches have been thrown back to needs building.

With the fixed dpatch uploaded, I requested a give-back for amd64 and powerpc, which have now both built, leaving only ia64 as the odd one out, which is waiting in Needs Building. I am going to close this bug as it all looks fine.
