Bug Description

Binary package hint: libtool

The libltdl3 (1.5.22-4) package contains nothing but files in /usr/share/doc, and an empty /usr/lib directory.

This obviously breaks other programs looking for libltdl.so.3, such as TeXMacs :).

Indeed. I downloaded libltdl3 (using "aptitude download libltdl3"), and the package it pulled had the SO file in there. I'd chalk it up to the Feisty -> Gutsy dist-upgrade (since it worked before and not after), but I can't really see how a broken package could've got introduced there.

Requested output included for completeness, just in case other people see this strange phenomenon.
