Binary package hint: gramps
It would be nice if it was possible to sort the children in the "Ancestry Report" by date of birth.

In version 2.2.9 (I think since about 2.2.7?) you can manually move them around in the family view. That order should be used in the ancestor chart as well. I'm marking this as 'fix released' just reopen if you still have trouble with this.
