kubuntu 7.04 installer hangs

Bug Description

Tried to install kubuntu 7.04 (feisty), i manually set partitions. and few few moments after the installation started (i think on 13%) when trying to format the / partition the installation stopped responding.

Also the migration tool step was skipped, but maybe it doesn't work on kubuntu yet.

installation went fine with ubuntu 7.04 and also with kubuntu 7.04 beta

Hello,
Try booting the LiveCD installer with "noacpi" option to turn ACPI. I have seen this installation error happen many times with ACPI turned on.
