Bug Description

The problem is simillar to bug 36272 but in this case I cannot view the contents of Applications menu at all. After clicking on the menu small white box appears. I also noticed that when I click Applications Menu using right mouse button another menu appears. Then I Click on Edit Menus but nothinh happens. I can only see for several seconds Staring Main Menu in the bottom menu bar.

Regards

Mariusz

Does running gnome-menu-spec-test work correctly? Could you copy the log to a bug?

Looks like a buggy /home/ubuntu/.config/menus/applications.menu user configuration. Does moving it somewhere else fix the bug? How did you edit your menu? Could you attach the file to the bug?

First of all I would like to thank you. Moving the file fixed the problem.

The applications.menu file was empty.

At the moment I can't say what was the reason of the problem. If it happends again I will try describe it.
