Bug Description

Is anyone else seeing this?

Using the keepass2-2.22+dfsg package.

I just upgraded to Ubuntu 13.04 (raring). When I open any dialog that uses a banner image, there is just a blank area, such as About, Options and Edit Entry. See attached pictures.

the dialogs look ok for me using 2.22 (ppa package) and 2.21 (the raring package)
are you sure you are using an unmodified package?

It looks like the 2.22 package from quantal survived the upgrade. "dpkg -s keepass2" shows 2.22+dfsg-1~ppa1~ubuntu12.10

I just downloaded the source package raring/2.21 to dig a little deeper and still seeing the same thing. I have found that if I change the windows so that they are resizable and make them just a bit wider, the banner shows. If you make them too narrow again, the banner disappears.

I should also probably mention that I am running Ubuntu as a VirtualBox guest on Win7 host.

I also have this problem (Ubuntu 13.04 64-bit). Unlike dlech, I'm NOT running Ubuntu in Virtualbox. I have a regular Ubuntu install to a partition of my hard drive. I don't know if this is anyway helpful, but this is representative of my output when I run keepass2 in a terminal:

:~$ keepass2

@Martin: Good to know. My guess is that it probably has to do with video driver, so it works for some and not for others.
All of the SendMessage stuff is normal.

Anyway, this is fixed upstream: http://sourceforge.net/p/keepass/discussion/329220/thread/54f61e9a/#f245
