Can't drag'n'drop a selection in the playlist

Bug Description

Binary package hint: gmpc

I select multiple songs in the playlist.
Now I want to drag these to a later place in the sequence.
However, when I click and hold to start dragging, the selection changes to just the song I clicked on, instead of focusing on the whole current selection.

gmpc 0.13.0-2, Feisty

gtk does not support drag and drop on multiple rows. that's why gmpc doesn't.

The moment gtk supports it, it will be added in gmpc

Since 3 years have passed, and drag&drop on multiple rows appears to be possible today AFAIK (sonata uses gtk+ and it supports multiple selection), maybe now it is possible to update the importance label of this bug and resolve it for the release of 0.21 version.

Yes it is possible, but with hacks. GMPC has a copy paste system that works better. Not this is not going to be in the next release, and yes this is the wrong bugtracker.

Ops, sorry, I didn't realize that. Btw, thanks for the copy&paste tip!
