Bug Description

Binary package hint: epiphany

When you click a file from epiphany, it asks if you want to save it to your harddrive. In that dialog, the "cancel" button is placed to the right of the "save as" button, which is confusing and contrary to what the HIG specify (If the alert was produced in response to a user action, place a Cancel button immediately to the left of the affirmative button).

I was not able to reproduce the bug. To see my results, see the attachment.

I used Epiphany 2.19.2, the one that comes with Ubuntu Gutsy.

Hm, for some reason I'm not getting the "download" button, just the other two. I used to have it in previous ephy versions, so I thought it had just been removed.

Is there a reason why I could not be getting the "download" button?

Do you use the "automatic download" option?

Nope. If I used it I guess that dialog wouldn't even appear.

it would since the dialog is a confirmation one about a non secure mimetype

OK, you're right; if I turn "automatic download" on the button DOES appear, but if it's turned off it doesn't. Is this the intended behaviour?

If it is, when it's turned off and only "cancel" and "save as" appear, these should follow the HIG on button placement.

That's due to a Debian patch then
