Bug Description

Binary package hint: synaptic

A error occured, please run Package Manager from the right-click menu or apt-get on a terminal to see what is wrong. The error message was: 'Error: Opening the cache (E:Opening /etc/apt/sources.list - ifstream:: (13 Permision denied), E:The list of sources could not be read.)'

I thought this related to Summary no. 111688. I read the help and ran the suggested command to correct the problem. A bunch of stuff ran by on the terminal screen but I'm still having the same problem.

I'm I missing something?

Sorry but I'm a real newb to this.

Thanks for the help!

All I sorted. I eventually formated my system. Looking forward to 8.04.

Yes, good to hear that it's fixed, I'll change to Invalid unless it reoccurs.
