Please include drivers into sane api for other HP Scanjets

Please, could you add the drivers from http://hp44x0backend.sourceforge.net/ to sane-backends-extras or maybe to do a second extras for use these testing drivers

Please, could you add the drivers from http://hp44x0backend.sourceforge.net/ to sane-backends-extras or maybe to do a second extras for use these testing drivers. This is for HP4400C / HP4470C / HP3500 / HP3570 / HP3530 (my one is 3500). I donot probe it because I was not able to compile and install as instructions say on that page.

Already, I bought another scanner so this backends is not needed by me.

I have an HP 3500c scanner. I did compile the driver from CVS on Debian Ubuntu Breezy (powerpc), and I used it.
It's still not a part of sane drivers in Debian Ubuntu Dapper. Could you include it? thx.

It's in stable sane 1.0.18. Debian Ubuntu Dapper is in sane 1.0.17. :'(

Thank you for reporting this bug to Ubuntu. The version of Ubuntu referenced in this issue has reached end of life, and the issue is fixed in newer versions of Ubuntu.
