Bug Description
There no way to 'archive' old bank account or old journals since there is no active field on these objects.
Is it possible to add these fileds please ?

As per stable version term and condition, adding a new fields are not allowed. because it will reflect the schema.
I have attached patch in your ticket . please have a look.
R&D team will take decision on it. So I'm reassigning it to trunk.
