Bug Description
every second time or so on shutdown down kubuntu, the screen becomes black, but the machines still running and doing its ventilator noise. The only solution is to pull the plug. Even after waiting to hours, it wont finish shutdown. As the screen is black, i cant give any error messages. After pulling the plug on reboot, it sometimes complaints about the disks having set wrong parameters and needing to be checked. I dont think its very healthy for the hardware to shutdown this way too often. I dont want to change the os again, since im really happy with kubuntu, but thats just a blocker..
