[regression] The panel doesn’t hide when tapping outside it

Bug Description
This seems to be a regression that appeared recently, I can observe it with today’s ubuntu-touch build on the Galaxy Nexus (build #140) that has qtdeclarative5-
To reproduce, simply launch any application that has a Panel (webbrowser-app, notes-app, gallery-app, …), reveal the panel by swiping up from the bottom edge, and then tap anywhere outside the panel to hide it. Note how it doesn’t hide.

confirmed: in phone-app and gallery-app, the panel doesn't close by tapping outside of it (didn't try other apps yet).
