This is ignored for the purposes of translation overview, which only shows the first (historically) branch which has templates for translation.
The problematic bits are in product DB code inside primary_

Another problem was that the logic in selecting "latest" series was broken: it instead selected the oldest series, which needs fixing as well.
I have a branch which does this.
