Bug Description

Binary package hint: update-manager

Error message given:

A unresolvable problem occurred while initializing the package information.

Please report this bug against the 'update-manager' package and include the following error message:

'E:Dynamic MMap ran out of room, E:Error occurred while processing xfce4-messenger-plugin (NewVersion1), E:Problem with MergeList /var/lib/apt/lists/ftp.de.debian.org_debian_dists_unstable_main_binary-i386_Packages, E:The package lists or status file could not be parsed or opened.'

Thank you for your bug report. I think this is not a bug, especially as the error is not referencing a ubuntu repository but a debian repo. Can you avoid the error be commenting the debian sources in /etc/apt/sources.list or include APT::Cache-Limit "125000000"; in /etc/apt/apt.conf?
