nethack-gnome hangs after creating character

Bug Description

After creating haracter, nethack-gnome dies with following message:

Gdk-ERROR **: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
serial 31456 error_code 8 request_code 62 minor_code 0
Gdk-ERROR **: BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)
serial 31460 error_code 8 request_code 62 minor_code 0

Thank you for your bug report. Could you include a bit more information about what you were doing when it crashes and what hardware you are running on? Thanks in advance for your efforts.

I was not doing anything special. But I did a mistake: it crashes at start, ie. I can see nethack-gnome window and then it dies.
