Bug Description

Please excuse me but, I'm not quite sure what the package would have fallen under, but I can give an in depth explanation of the bug:

The desktop effects has an internal bug in relation to the Work Space on a Cube effects. Once you activate the desktop effects, you are given an option to use the Cube. Select it so you may use it. How ever, once you return the those effects, the cube fails and stops working. There is permanently only one face to the cube and it doesn't seem like it is meant to be apart of the program. To visualize, follow the steps:

1. Activate the desktop effects (if not already activated).
2. Now, go back to the system tab and open the desktop effects app.
3. You should notice that in the bottom right, the cube now only has one face and will not scroll when the command is given.

I've seen this happen before.. I came up with a simple fix for it.. not sure if there is a better one..
but goto System > Preferences > Desktop Effects

Now while that is up right click on your workspace selector in the bottom right corner and click preferences

The number of workspaces will say: workspaces: 1
change it to four or whatever then uncheck and re check the checkbox that says "Workspaces on a cube"

You sgould get your cube back

Correction "Number of workspaces: 4" and do that all while you have the desktop effects window open

I'm glad it worked for you!
Although the reason why this bug has probably not seen any more attention than this is because it was posted in the "Gnometab" bug are... Gnometab is a Graphical tablature editor (for guitarists and song writers). but as long as you got your answer it didnt really matter. Lol.
That is a fix I came up with. It's extremely simple and it works. :)
