I have a Panasonic DMC - LZ3 camera and sometimes I cant copy my photos to the PC. The first 10 time there wasnt problem but after one week I cant use it. The camera is ok, I can use it at my another desktop. The error massage is: ('Unspecified error'): Could not query kernel driver of device.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported is one that should be reproducable with the live environment of the Desktop CD of the development release - Gutsy Gibbon. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can work on getting it fixed in the next release of Ubuntu. Hi

This is Feisty and a Panasonic TZ2
Importing photos from the camera used to just work.

But yesterday I got the message:
'Unspecified error'): Could not query kernel driver of device

After some testing, the camera quit working because the Battery was down.
After recharging it overnight, this morning everything just worked as normal.

Maybe it has something to do with the battery status, this is just a guess.
