UnreportableReason: This is not a genuine Ubuntu package
I've just noticed that somebody or something (Bug Reporting System? Launchpad?) had added "UnreportableRe ason: This is not a genuine Ubuntu package". Does this mean that my version of Synaptic is not the real one that I should have?
Should I be worried about security? If my package manager is not the real one, then how do I know that what it installs or updates is genuine?
Thanks.
