Bug Description
Binary package hint: kile
When writing a LaTeX document with loads of table and figure floats, with folding turned on or off, making a selection with the mouse or keyboard often results in the (blue) highlight not showing and after that clicking the mouse or moving the cursor with the arrow keys doesn't show the blinking cursor anymore. So you can only see where you are typing, when you start typing.
Making selections still works, but you can't see what you selected. The same for the cursor, if I click somewhere, I can type from there, but it doesn't show the cursor.
Opening and closing Kile fixes the problem.
My setup: Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty Fawn 64-bit edition (GNOME) on an AMD X2 4200+ with a HIS X1650XT. Kile is version 1.9 from the repository.
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.
