Bug Description

Binary package hint: nautilus

I am using thunderbird a lot. It has a nice feature that helps to keep your disk clean:

Select a time after which messages will be deleted in folder properties.

Could such a option be incorporated in the Nautilus folder properties?

A possible use case:

You buy a travel ticket online and save it. After you came back from the journey all related files will still linger around an occupy disk space. At the time you create the folder you know exactly that you won't need the files after the jouney and can therefore urge nautilus to delete them or even the folder itself.
Just like the proteced folders get a padlock symbol these folders could be attached with a clock symbol.

Just a idea...

Thanks for your report.

Sounds like an interesting idea. It might get more attention and have the possibility of being implemented if you submit a specification for it. First check whether the idea is already registered <https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+specs>, and if so, contact the specification's drafter about your ideas. Otherwise, you can start writing a spec yourself. <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/FeatureSpecifications>.

the ubuntu team doesn't have the ressources to work on such wishlist request and that should be opening on bugzilla.gnome.org.
