[compiz kdm]no way to activate direct shutdown from KDE

Bug Description
Binary package hint: kdm
When quitting KDE desktop direct use of "shutdown" option does not work as the computer stays on with a black screen ; the only way to quit KDE - compiz is to proceed like this :
- (1) leave session,
- (2) shutdown option on logging kdm window

Sounds more like a compiz problem, reassigning.
