Bug Description
Binary package hint: update-manager
Similar bugs have been reported about conflicts between x11-common and xinit, but I chose to report a new bug as this conflict is not with xinit but with the opera-static package (downloaded from opera).
During update-manager -c -d from dapper to edgy, it fails when upgrading x11-common with the message "trying to overwrite /usr/X11R6/bin which is also in the package opera-static" (not exact quote). The upgrade processed stopped.
apt-get -f install did not fix this. dpkg --remove opera-static followed by apt-get -f install seems to work (the upgrade continued without failing at least).
I lost the terminal text, but I will attach the logs.

Sorry, I just saw that this bug is a duplicate of #67996, my bad.
(This fault was also caused by the symlink opera has in /usr/X11R6/bin.)
