Bug Description

Binary package hint: gdb-avr

My version: feisty

The bug described at
http://2313.avrfreaks.net/index.php?name=PNphpBB2&file=printview&t=41173&start=0
seems to be included in the gdb-avr (6.4.90-dfsg-1) shipped with feisty. simulavr crashes almost instantly when I try to start a debug session. The error message is identical to the one described in the link.

That link doesn't work anymore, when I try to start simulavr I get the following error. Can you post more info please?

I'm sorry, but it was something like a year ago I worked with that. I think
that I do have more details in my laptop at home in Sweden. Unfortunately
I've just moved to the US. Will visit sweden for christmas, perhaps I can
dig something up then.

About the only thing I remember was that the bug was known to the avr-gdb
guys and that there was a patch available. Or maybe I fixed it by
downloading a later version and making a separate install? Don't remember.

Thanks for the reply, do you still have simulavr? If you do and are running hardy could you see if it will start for you? Mine still gives the error above.

No, I'm sorry, but I can't. I no longer have access to the sourcecode
which crashed because I've changed employment.
