Bug Description

Binary package hint: mozilla-firefox

I am using Ubuntu 7.10 with Firefox 2.0.0.4.
When i try to open http://ubuntuforums.org/ it hangs a little bit then opens the site.

Please try to reproduce this behavior with a new profile (hints at [1]) without third party extensions and plugins.

I am unable to reproduc ethis promlem on edgy. Can you please see if it still happens if you run firefox in safe mode by running this command in terminal firefox -safe-mode

Ok, i tried it today again but it didnt happen. Now, if i can produce it again, ill try to do what you said. I hope it was not a permanent bug and if i bother, i am sorry.
