Bug Description

I reported bug http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=447115 upstream, but it appear to be due to ubuntu goffice packages always being built without gnome support:

gjc@nazgul:downloads$ sudo apt-get install libgoffice-gtk-0-3
Reading package lists... Done
Building dependency tree
Reading state information... Done
The following packages will be REMOVED:
  libgoffice-0-3
The following NEW packages will be installed:
  libgoffice-gtk-0-3
0 upgraded, 1 newly installed, 1 to remove and 16 not upgraded.
Need to get 0B/630kB of archives.
After unpacking 0B of additional disk space will be used.
Do you want to continue [Y/n]?
dpkg: libgoffice-0-3: dependency problems, but removing anyway as you request:
 gnumeric depends on libgoffice-0-3 (>= 0.3.7) | libgoffice-gtk-0-3 (>= 0.3.7); however:
  Package libgoffice-0-3 is to be removed.
  Package libgoffice-gtk-0-3 is not installed.

Because of this, gnumeric can not open directly files on gnome-vfs.
Therefore I can not open any speadsheet files on SMB folders.
See Gnome bug 444237 (which has been marked as a duplicate of 44715) if details are needed.

It seems to be fixed in gutsy:
$ md5sum /usr/lib/libgoffice-0.so.4.0.0 # with libgoffice-0-4
ac186f8fb02a357eef834389c0be191e /usr/lib/libgoffice-0.so.4.0.0
$ md5sum /usr/lib/libgoffice-0.so.4.0.0 # with libgoffice-gtk-0-4
cb086c089d7d7122734f7937aa96b3b5 /usr/lib/libgoffice-0.so.4.0.0

But this is still an issue on feisty.

Under Hardy heron, I don't have anymore the problem I was mentioning (not being able to open a spreadsheet on a SMB folder with gnumeric).
So I suppose we can close this ticket.
