Thank you for your bug. It lacks basic informations about your configuration to be useful though. What version of Ubuntu do you use? Do you use totem-gstreamer or totem-xine? Does the file play smoothly if you download it and then read from the disk? Does "gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=..." has the same bug?

I'm using Ubuntu 7.04

$ uname -a
Linux Krum 2.6.20-16-generic #2 SMP Thu Jun 7 20:19:32 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

using totem-gstreamer engine

When I download the file playback is ok.
When using "gst-launch-0.10 playbin uri=..." file plays with buffer stops but plays smooth

The problem is whenusing the firefox totem plugin to wath the video inside the browser

Hi there
Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the development version of Ubuntu, Hardy Heron?

Thanks in advance.

May someone having the issue forward this upstream to bugzilla.gnome.org? For forwarding instructions please have a look to https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Bugs/Upstream/GNOME ; leaving as incomplete until that, thanks.
