Gutsy-hugin won't start

Bug Description

Binary package hint: hugin

Gutsy-hugin 0.7 was working.
Installed updates Thur 7/14/07.
After that point Hugin fails to start.
Tried complete uninstall of hugin, autopano-sift, and enblend, then reinstalled.
Hugin still fails to start
Have screen dump if anyone interested.

I think I'm seeing the same bug-- Hugin broke after some updates last week. I acquired a stack trace (gdb log attached).

Just to make sure my problem wasn't of my own making, I put in a new hdd, loaded gutsy-desktop-i386.iso, alpha 1, loaded all the updates, installed hugin (plus 5 dependent packages) and tried to start hugin from the terminal. Attached is the screen dump. It said there was a core dump but the core file in my home directory exists but is empty.

After some other recent update, Hugin seems to be working again.
