Sometimes Writer can't scroll down to a document

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

In some documents .doc someone sent me, writer can't scroll down to them.. If you scroll the column of numbers on the left scroll with the scroll bar but the document does not scroll..

Is there an example document that you can include in the bug report that exhibits the problem?

Can you reproduce this issue on Ubuntu 7.04? I tried opening the document on Ubuntu 7.04 i386 and it worked fine for me as far as I can tell anyway.

Well maybe someone still cares for this.

Open the document writable, (otherwise you cannot set the following option)
Activate View -> Non Printing Characters

et voila you can scroll

even if you turn "Non Printing Characters" of again (for this session).
