Bug Description

I tried several times to connect a yahoo account (changing status with the icon) with Kopete, and it has always crashed.

I have no similar bugs with MSN or Jabber accounts.

For what it's worth here is a "me too".

Running Feisty on AMD64. Starting Kopete from the command line gives the following error as soon as I go online in Yahoo:

~/.kde/share/apps$ QMetaObject::findSignal:ClientStream: Conflict with Stream::readyRead()
Transfer ACCEPTED by: LoginTask
Transfer ACCEPTED by: LoginTask
QObject::disconnect: No such signal Client::gotBuddyIconRequest(const QString&)
KCrash: Application 'kopete' crashing...

I googled for the gotBuddyIconRequest, but didn't get any hits.

The bug seems to be fixed in version 3.5.8 (or eariler, but I couldn't test).
Is there anyone to confirm that ?
