Bug Description
When booting Ubuntu 2.6.17-11 the system cooling fan on my Tosiba Tecra M2 laptop stops
If I boot into Windows XP or Solaris 10, the fan runs periodically cooling the system.
I also noticed that the bottom of the system is VERY warm when booted under Ubuntu.
When the system starts to boot I can hear that the fan is running. Just prior to being
presented with the Ubuntu login prompt, the fan stops.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance,
Cliff Pautz
