Touchpad doesn't work after suspend on amilo1520

1) the output of uname -a:

2) the output of dmesg as an attach

Could you send the me the output of 'lsmod > lsmod.log'?

Another thing: sometimes my laptop doesn't (completely) resume from suspend and I have a blank screen with only a writing (which I can report if it can be of help) and I have to press ALT+F1 and type: sudo /etc/init.d/gdm restart

Could you try the following:

Before suspend:
$ sudo rmmod psmouse

After resume:
$ sudo modprobe psmouse

It doesn't seem to solve the problem..

Since we do not have the exact HW to test on, here are a things you could help us with

1. Check if Gutsy Tribe 2 fixes the problem
2. Follow the steps on https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingKernelSuspend to pinpoint the problem

Also, you should probably report the blank screen bug as well.

I can confirm that this issue is still present in Gutsy (with daily upgrades)

Beginning with the Hardy Heron 8.04 development cycle, all open Ubuntu kernel bugs need to be reported against the "linux" kernel package.
