Bug Description

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

Impress can't open a document while in windows it can.. If you try to open it in ubuntu it opens a Writer blank document

In openoffice.org 2.3 it says:

"File format error found at 1,10(row,col)."

This happens on both Ubuntu openoffice.org 1:2.4.0~rc2-1ubuntu3 and upstream's openoffice.org 2.4.0~rc2

This file can not be opened by Microsoft Powerpoint 2007 either. Perhaps the file is corrupted? What version of PowerPoint were you able to open this file under?

Here is the error message from Powerpoint 2007:

Microsoft Office PowerPoint
PowerPoint can't read the outline from C:\IL COMPUTER BIOLOGICO.ppt. No text converter is installed for this file type.
