USB IRDA - connection dies

Bug Description

System: kubuntu 7.04
Kernel: Linux doman 2.6.20-16-lowlatency #2 SMP PREEMPT Thu Jun 7 20:23:03 UTC 2007 i686 GNU/Linux

I have SigmaTel, Inc. STIr4200 IrDA Bridge which allways stops working after 1st run synchronisation under kpilot with my palm vx.
After that I have to restart irda's irattach by running /etc/init.d/irda-utils restart.
Although sometimes I cannot reinitialise it an I have to restart system.

I use stir4200 driver to dommunicate with the irda usb connector.
