Bug Description
I don't know if it should be called a bug.
I'm using Kubuntu Feisty and I have an Internet connection when installing it from a live CD.
The installer copies the french langage pack, but when cleaning up, it doesn't remove english packs.
Shouldn't they automaticly be removed, or is there a reason for keeping those packages ?

As you suspected this is not a bug. The English language packs have to be retained as a fall back. The system default language is English and this is what the system will fall back to if there is a problem with any of the translated material. I'm not sure what the state of the French translations are but in any language where the translation is incomplete then the English equivalent for the bits that are missing is required to have a usable system. Feel free to report any further bugs you may find.
thanks,
