Could not initialize GStreamer: Error re-scanning registry , child terminated by signal

The gnome-system-daemon fails because of this which is an other consern but gstreamer consistantly fails to run because of this bug:

I tested gst-launch, gst-feedback, gstreamer-properties and totem all failed to run.
