Gutsy Tribe 1 installer configures X to use "vesa" driver (instead of "ati") for an ATI All-In-Wonder Radeon 8500 DV (R200 chipset).

The following command correctly reconfigures X to use the ATI driver (new xorg.conf attached).

sudo dpkg-reconfigure --priority=high xserver-xorg

The discover-data entry for this looks correct, and looks like it should have been for Tribe 1. Can you please paste the output of
sudo discover --disable=serial,parallel,usb,ide,scsi --format="%V %M\t%S\t%D\n" video

It looks like discover is returning what it should. This must be a dexconf or xserver-xorg problem.

This should be fixed in Hardy alpha3, which is released later this week. BusID is not hardcoded anymore.
