Bug Description

Binary package hint: gnome-panel

Looks like others have had similar problems with other applets. I put this applet on my panel. It doesn't do anything, and I can't remove it. No further details.

Thank you for your bug report. Do you still get the issue? Could you attach your .xsession-errors when running into the bug?

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. I'm using Hardy Heron and I had problems with screen brightness applet (bug 191725) BUT I removed it from the panel without problems.

I'm closing it because the bug has been fixed in the latest development version of Ubuntu - the Hardy Heron.

If you need a fix for the bug in previous versions of Ubuntu, please follow the instructions for "How to request new packages" at https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuBackports#request-new-packages

Cheers!
