Thunar in tree mode freezes upon opening folders

Bug Description
This bug happens to me in Xubuntu 7.04. It occurs sometimes when I open folders in thunar, usually ones with lots of things in. When it occurs thunar freezes and the only way to close it is by killing the process. While it is frozen I can carry on using my computer as normal, it doesn't freeze the whole machine.
The version of thunar that I am using is 0.8.0 and my file system is ext2. I can browse my files fine in xfe 0.9.x without any freezes.
Edit: after turning off the tree mode in thunar this problem has ceased to occur. Therefore I believe that it is related with bugs in the tree mode and not a problem if the program is being used without the tree mode.
