Invalid ELF Header

Bug Description

I get this error when ever I try to update Ubuntu, (after agt-get install <appname>)or start any application that uses the shared library.

Eg. I tried to start oowriter

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been any activity in it recently. We were wondering if this is still an issue for you. Can you try with the latest Ubuntu release? Thanks in advance.

can you run "file /usr/lib/libicudata.so.36" and "file /usr/lib/openoffice/program/soffice.bin" to see what the format is?

Please ignore that, as I'm sure you are aware, 7.04 reached its End of Life in October 2008, and therefore needs to be tested in a supported version (8.04 onwards). Thank you.
