Bug Description

Binary package hint: emifreq-applet

After a week it's already using way over 100 MiB.
It has had this memory leak at least since dapper.
I've reported the problem to the author a looong time ago, but so far he's been completely ignoring me.

This is really, really annoying. At the moment emifreq-applet is using 400 MiB of my RAM. That's insane!

Is this still an issue in Intrepid or Jaunty?

Yes, 0.18-4ubuntu1 still has a memory leak of about 1160 KiB/h.

Thanks for your report. The package in question is horribly broken and has since been removed from Ubuntu and Debian. Therefor, this bug is being closed.
