Bug Description

As of version 2.1.4-0ubuntu1 Evolution stopped to filter new mail,
or appy filters to selected mail in my IMAP account.
Spam shows up again in the Inbox instead of the Junk folder.

Moving the mail to a local folder i can select it and apply filters as well as
filter for junk.

It's not just not working, it's really not working. Here's what I'm seeing:

- All context menu options for filtering by mailing list are gone (Filter on
Mailing List, VFolder on Mailing List).
- Filtering on other fields "works", but the mail goes to the trash folder
rather than where it's supposed to go.
- Dragging a message from one folder to another also results in it going to the
correct destination folder *and* the trash.

So, at least two bugs there, I suppose.

With Evolution 2.1.4-0ubuntu1, I just saw that filters don't apply on new mails.
Another issue, I'm not able to create new email account, the next button stay
blocked.

please don't mix different bugs here. Here applying a filter on a imap box works
fine. Do you any error in the console if you run evolution from here or in
~/.xsession-error ?
what server are you using ?

this is with courier-imap 3.0.8 imap over ssl

and i just checked the filters again and it only applies for the
mailinglist filters that disapreared from the context menu and
stopped working on imap folders.

This should be fixed with this upload:

 evolution-data-server (1.1.4.2-0ubuntu1) hoary; urgency=low
 .
   * New upstream release:
     - fix the filters on imap (Hoary: #5904).

On IMAP messages from mailing lists are not recognized as such, this results in
two things i am aware of:

| Apply Filter/Filters applied on new mail will not apply filters on Mailing Lists,
|| right click, Create Rule From Message, will not offer me the option 'Filter
on Mailing List'
moving the message to a local folder the option will show up and Apply
Filters works.

what about right clicking on the folder, properties and activate the list option
? They have changed the code to increase the speed. By default the imap code
doesn't load the list header if you don't say evolution to do so, that increase
the speed for non-list boxes ...

thanks, that did the trick for me,
thougth i would have never expected that option to be there.
