Bug Description

Binary package hint: firefox

... Firefox Segmentation Fault - nsRuleNode.h: No such file or directory.

I keep getting this segmentation fault when running firefox. I am unsure of how I can reproduce it but it seems to be happening a lot recently for some reason.

Ubuntu 7.04 with Firefox 2.0.0.4+1-0ubuntu1

I have obtained a backtrace with gdb and the dbg package.

Extracted from symbolized stacktrace:

attached is another backtrace slightly different this time.

this crash just keeps happening. it seems that once the problem has occurred it becomes more likely to occur again say the next 3 or 4 times when firefox is restarted and i revisit the page (or any page?). a whole variety of websites cause this crash and i cannot identify one single element that leads to it. it occurs immediately when loading a page after clicking a link and sometimes when scrolling.

is it useful for me to get more traces and post them here? i'm not sure what else i can do to help.

We have not received any duplicates for some time. Thus, this crash was likely due to some unique plugin extension combination or has been fixed in the meantime. Please, reopen it at any time if you have more related info.

Thanks for your contribution. Don't hesitate to submit new crashes,

H. Montoliu
