Bug Description

Every now and then, click to focus ceases to work. That is, windows only get focus when the title bar is clicked instead of the whole window area. Replugging the USB mouse will help for a while until it happens again.

Thanks for your report. What version of Kubuntu has this issue? Did you have experienced this issue also in previous version? Please provide the file /etc/X11/xorg.conf and attach the output of the command lspci -vvn. Thanks for your collaboration.

And here's the xorg.conf. Previous version didn't have the problem as far as I can remember.

I'm unable to reproduce in development version 7.10, but with high probability should be related with specific hardware. In my opinion this report is quite complete to be confirmed. At the moment, I don't think that kdebase is directly involved in this bug.

I'm assuming it's a hardware issue, and an old one anyway. Open a new bug if you can reproduce with another mouse on a current release.
