Bug Description

Samba services don't seem to start. If as root I try to start I see:

/etc/init.d/samba4 start
 * Starting Samba 4 daemon samba /usr/sbin/samba: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libwbclient.so.0: no version information available (required by /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/samba/libauth4.so)

I'm running latest kubuntu 13.10

Same problem, same version.

I went as far as purging all samba packages, and installing from scratch (apt-get install samba4) and still having the same problem.

I had the same problem on debian wheezy.
I solved it by downloading a newer version (4.0.10) from testing (jessie).
Installed it and samba4 started with no errors.
