Bug Description

Binary package hint: libqt4-gui

Kubuntu Feisty, Qt 4.2.3: My Qt4 app uses Qt "assistant" for online help, but launching assistant through the QAssistantClient class doesn't work: Nothing happens.

This bug doesn't occur if I download Qt4 directly from Trolltech and install it myself in a dedicated directory.

Klaus.

Is this bug in the final release of Jaunty? Can you provide steps to reproduce this bug? Thank you.

Sorry, but I can't remember exactly, but as far as I know I installed
the qt-assistant package, and when I wanted to run it, there weren't
assistant, and after I installed the docs, it worked. I tried it in the
rc and the final version too.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make Ubuntu better. We are sorry that we do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely manner.
There have been many changes in Ubuntu since that time you reported the bug and your problem may have been fixed with some of the updates. It would help us a lot if you could test the current Ubuntu version (10.10). If you can test it, and it is still an issue, we would appreciate if you could upload updated logs by running apport-collect <bug #>, and any other logs that are relevant for this particular issue.
