starting nautilus as root does not show mounted partitions

Binary package hint: nautilus

nautilus 2.19.4-0ubuntu2

mounted partitions that are shown in the user nautilus "Places" should also be shown if nautilus is started as another user (especially root)

I run it from my user session through

gksudo nautilus
